A solo exhibition tracing masculinity, vulnerability, abstraction, and personal narrative.

Find & Explore examined the link between masculinity and vulnerability, using layered mixed media works to reshape strength through authenticity, emotion, humor, and double meaning.

Presented at Steckline Gallery at Newman University, the exhibition brought together paintings and mixed media works that move between portraiture, abstraction, symbolic mark-making, visual jokes, and deeply personal storytelling.

The work invited viewers to look closely at how identity is built through contradiction: softness and bravado, desire and shame, comedy and grief, visibility and self-protection.

Through bright color, patterned surfaces, repeated symbols, and figures that feel both exposed and guarded, Find & Explore created space for conversations about queer identity, masculinity, emotional honesty, and the complicated work of becoming visible.

The exhibition included public-facing conversation around process, identity, humor, vulnerability, and the emotional weight carried by abstraction.
