Acquired for Private Collection
This piece lives somewhere between being held and being haunted. It’s about abundance and loss, the people who move through our lives, and the marks they leave behind. The hands aren’t physical handprints so much as memories. Some offered comfort, some created distance, but each one became part of the story.
I intentionally kept the figure rough and unresolved because those experiences often feel that way. Raw, unpolished, and deeply human. The chaotic background mirrors the emotions that come with carrying so many connections at once. Even when people are gone, the feeling of them has a way of staying with us.
