RAWR is a contemporary figurative art print about the connection between human emotion and animal instinct.

Anger, fear, sadness, and hurt can all show up on the outside in ways that look aggressive or intense, even when something completely different is happening underneath. The man and panther mirror each other in that reaction, both caught in a moment that feels loud, emotional, and a little wild.

I wanted to contrast those heavier emotions with soft tropical foliage and bright fluorescent color. I love that push between something powerful and something gentle, because I think people can be both at the same time.
